KUPANG, KOMPAS.com - An oil field in the Timor Sea exploded in August 21, 2009, pouring 500,000 liters of oil every day into the Timor Sea. "The oil field is 690 kilometers west of Darwin, North Australia, and 250 kilometers northwest of Truscott in Western Australia," chairman of the West Timor Care Foundation (YPTB) Ferdi Tanoni said here Friday.
